Ivypaw thought. She went to follow Foxpaw and ignored Featherpaws bitter lies. Lionstar looked like he knew she was lying.
‘Its ok, I will worry about Featherpaw, not you.’ Lionstar meowed quietly as he stalked more into the den.
‘Thank you!’ Ivypaw shouted down the den, then turned to find Foxpaw looking up to the sky, she slowed down as she new he was pretty angry. He still had his claws unsheathed. ‘Foxpaw… It’s ok now don’t worry about Featherpaw! Lionstar will handle it.’ Ivypaw admitted she was scared, she looked at Foxpaw his eyes were blazing, she took a step back ‘Foxpaw…’ Ivypaw turned to the apprentice den. ‘Come on it’s really late, we should get some sleep.’ She walked off and turned her head to see if he was coming
‘I will be there in a bit. Just hold on’ Foxpaw meowed still eager to claw Featherpaws face.
‘Uh okay, Just don’t be too long!’ Meowed Ivypaw as she turned around and padded off just as Featherpaw came out. Oh great! Ivypaw narrowed her eyes. If I ever do fighting with you I will unsheathe my claws! ‘You ruined my life Ivypaw! Now I need to wait for the next batch of kits to be apprentices until I can be a warrior!’ Featherpaw glared at Ivypaw then whipped around towards the entrance of the camp.
‘Yes, I am so sorry’ Ivypaw rolled her eyes and snuggled into her bed.
Ivypaw waited in bed for Foxpaw she waited for a while, When finally he came in he sat in his bed and fell asleep as quick as a flash. Ivypaw looked at him waiting to drift into a deep sleep as well, she couldn’t. She got up and looked around the clearing, everyone was heading to bed. She glanced at the fresh-kill pile looking for something juicy to eat, she walked over and stuck her nose in and sniffed around, she picked out a small rabbit and ate it in one gulp. She suddenly felt heavier and yawned, Better go to sleep now. She walked off barely looking where she was going, she walked into the apprentices den and and peeked through a little hole in the den’s dark roof,
